Its Main Goal, is to turn prospects into customers, and get more sales and conversions from your existing customers. OR simply, get your website more traffic by sending updates and newsletters to your followers.

How it works?

The process can be summed up with the following 4 steps:

1. Prepare are configure your Email system

2. Collect Targeted Emails (Build Email Lists)

3. Send  Emails

4. Monitor, analyze, and Optimize.

                                                    Why Email Marketing?

                                            The Importance of Email Marketing

When compared to other digital marketing strategies, the following reasons will make email marketing one of your top priorities.

Email is the #1 communication channel. Did you know that at least 99% of consumers check their email daily?

Your own private email list. Your account could be suspended at any time on any social media platform, without notice. However, you own your email list. No one can take those leads away from you.

Emails convert better. Email marketing has an ROI of 4400%. That’s huge!

People want to see your emails!.
A dvertising platforms, like Facebook, Google, YouTube, or any native ads service, users see ads from people they don't know without expecting to see them. While with emails, people subscribe to your list and wait for your new content, offers, and news. This is very important!

Emails are cheap.

Do You Know that you can send up to 100K emails for 10$! I will explain later how you can save money with Email Marketing, mainly if you use your own email marketing system.

 Automation and simplicity.

Today, We have many email marketing services like MailChimp, Aweber, GetResponse, and other companies that make everything simple for you when you want to manage your email marketing campaigns, Email Lists, and everything else.

And Even if you’re going to use your own System, which will be a lot cheaper, you can have the same simplicity and features as those companies.

                        Types of Email Marketers

When it comes to sending emails, we have mainly 3 types, so in other words, we have three types of email marketers.

1. Regular Email Marketers

2. Cold Email Marketers

3. Bulk Mailers

Note,

I invented the following types to distinguish between different types of emails and understand when emails are said to be spammy.

How to Setup Your Own System?

Email Marketing System Structure.

 EMS = EMA + SMTP

This is not a physics lesson It's Simply the Email marketing system structure!

Any Email Marketing System (EMS) consists of two parts:

The sender: (SMTP) this is the technical part that allows you to send emails over the internet. The Email Marketing Application (EMA), where you can configure and manage your Email Lists, Mand arketing Campaigns, monitor and analyze results, manage your sending servers, etc.

So we connect both together to get an Email Marketing System.

I think the idea is simple. You have to know that we have different types of email applications and senders. Some Examples to keep in mind:

What is the SMTP?

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol

I will not bother your head with Technical Terms and Details. We want to make things simple.

SMTP is simply a "Thing" that allows you to send emails over the internet. So whenever an email is sent online, there is an SMTP server that sent it. If you like technical definitions, here we are:

An SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) server is an application whose primary purpose is to send, receive, and/or relay outgoing mail between email senders and receivers. SMTP is part of the application layer of the TCP/IP protocol.

Using a process called "store and forward," SMTP moves your email on and across networks. It works closely with something called the Mail Transfer Agent (MTA) to send your communication to the right computer and email inbox.

What do at you have to know?

SMTP is the main factor when it comes to email deliverability and reaching the rrecipient'sInbox. (We will explain this later in more detail) .

We can build our own SMTP servers from scratch or use an SMTP service. Building an SMTP properly allows you to send emails with NO Technical Limits.

It's important to learn how SMTP works to achieve the best results, especially for cold mailers. We have different types of SMTP applications as I mentioned before like:

PowerMTA - Postal - Postfix - MailerQ - Exim - hmailServer .

Email Marketing Applications.

TO THE NEW YEAR Manage, Send, and Monitor

As we said before, the second part of any email marketing system is the Email Marketing Application. We knew that the SMTP sends emails, YES?

But you must ask?

where the SMTP will send emails?

how to know who opened your emails?

how to manage your email lists?

how to set up auto-responders (Email automation) and much more...

IT's the EMAIL MARKETING APP The EMA, or the email marketing app is responsible for managing everything in your email marketing system.

The Main Functions of the Email marketing application are:

Build & Manage your Email Lists. SSet upEmail Marketing Campaigns.

Setup Landing Pages and Optin-Forms. Monitor Your Campaigns (Open and Click Rates) We have a lot of Email Marketing Applications, here is a list of some popular ones:

Email Marketing Services

What options do we have?

I think It's clear to you now how the email marketing system is designed. now you may ask? am I obliged to build the whole system if I wanna work in email marketing? The answer simply is NO. We have several email marketing companies that provide you a simple interface to manage and start your email marketing campaigns without worrying about any background technical setups and systems.
